ive posted some of the workings of this plane in the other thread but i wanted to start a new thread up for this. Here is what i have done so far. obvioulsy the covering was ripped off and the wings have been fully sheeted. the wings, stabs and vertical fins have been glassed with 3/4 ounce cloth and sig finishing resin. the new botton fins are made out of 1/8 pyl and formed to the fuse. i used robart hinges for the ailerons and rudder. for the gear i used a robart strut for the front, and covers for the back. I have finally got everyting primed and ready to paint. hopefully next weekend if it is hot enough. The weight of the plane so far with the retract servos and steering servo installed is six pounds. more to come later. oh yah i have to give credit for this idea to my brother who is also working on one of these. this is my first time glassing a plane and he has been helping me through every step over the phone 2500 miles away. thanks bro. ken
