Hi Guys!

Sorry for not responding earlier. Just returned from the Maple Flag jet rally in northern Alberta, Canada.

Update! Our super scaled out reference Panther is completed. For customers that wish to have close ups of how the inner doors, sppedbrakes, plumbing etc is done we will be able to supply detailed photos. Our demo model ( Blue Tail ) is almost ready to fly and will undergo flight testing shortly. We added some laser cuts parts and some minor assembly jigs to the North American kits to speed up construction. 10 kits have just arrived in port and we expect them in our shop within the next 7 - 10 days. Kits are available on a limited basis at the moment until regular monthly stock begins arriving. We will have all this info on our site www.pstna.com around July 18. Ed at Great Northern Models will be able to provide east coast customers kits, parts and support.

Considerable engineering, planning and testing have gone into this model to assure a high level of success. We thank you for your patience. We are confident you will be pleased with the final result.

Thank you
Dean Wichmann

Does anyone know if the Robart gear for the Ziroli Panther will work for the PST airframe with little/no modification?

Hi Gents

As Dean and Kravith mentioned, we will be handling the East Cost support for these fabulous kits. If you want to get a look at one up close, we will have one of the pre-production kits with us at Michigan Jets, Liberty Bell and Heart of Ohio.

Sincerely,
Ed

How is the finish on these. I am looking for a blue version. Is the finish smooth and glossy? Would I be able to just slap on some decals and fly? I looked at some pictures that someone had posted, and the surface looked a bit dull and textured. Maybee that person painted theirs or sprayed flat clear over the plane.
Thanks!!

If you are speaking of the grey over white version posted here by myself, that is a personal paint job, with a coat of Dullcote over it. You should not assume the version from the factory will have that same effect.

All Blue and All White version will have glossy finish and yes, you can just slap stickers on and fly.

Hi Terry,

First shipment of 10 has arrived in the States. You may want to contact Dean at Helijet for details. 2nd shipment is on the way and we are working hard to increase the supply to the USA.

Our Panther is highly QC and prefabricated so a lot of work goes into these kits which made each one special and serial numbered. To keep the production quality, we are not anticipating mass-production quantity like Skymaster's.

The kit is in hot demand and I would suggest a pre-order to hold a kit(s) from each shipment which we are already giving the USA market the priority.

Regards,
Kraivuth S.

Will the stock PST pipe handle a P-80? On the other end of the spectrum, I'm wondering if a P-60 would provide enough motivation for the plane?

Strength wise, PST stock double-walled tail pipe is strong enough for up to 20lbs turbine. Length is what need to be shortened since P80 is longer than the J600R. The Panther weighs around 11-12kg wet and will fly scale maneuvers with 12 lbs turbine so if you want vertical and short-field performance, you will need 14lbs+ thrust

10 Panther kits have arrived at customs in Seattle. We have almost completed all the paperwork snags. Customers will be notified of kit availablility ASAP and we will then get them out you. Another batch is being worked on in Thailand and hopefully we will catch up to demand within the next few shipments. Thank you for your patience - the kits really are awesome and the bird is one sweet flying scale model. Here are some pics of our demo model that will be flying at upcoming events.

Here's a pair of cockpit photos. I have not worked on the cockpit since it left the box, so this is exactly what I received with my kit.

He is a Dragon figure, the F-86 pilot. I removed the insiginia from the helmet, a little super fine sandpaper, and from the left arm patch. The seat and cockpit tub are custom made since I got mine before the newest modifications. The pilot is a tight squeeze, but looks the part.

We had two similar websites going through 2007 and found it not necessary. For product information and support on airframes etc you can check out www.helijet.ca

We continue to carry an inventory of kits. Further, our demo F84 and a new demo Panther currently are under construction and will be flown at events throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Through 2008 www.helijet.ca will continue as a dealer for PST and other excellent brands.

Kindest Regards
