Since the previous post, I've replaced the gyro and the servo but still the tail is spinning. I also purchased a servo but the movements of the new servo matches that of the old one. I used a different channel on the receiver and it still spins. Rotating the main rotor rotates the rudder so I can't detect any slippage.

I have just broken my ankle in a motorcycle accident so have got bored enough to dig out the df and try and get it working. A new receiver is on the table and awaiting modification. Unfortunately all the pictures are no longer hosted so its going to be guess work so wish me luck!

jahshappybus -> RE: Walkera Dragonfly 40 (7/12/2008 12:14:28 PM) Following instructions found here on an old dead DF 40 link I think there is a power issue were the tail motor needs its own supply of power s the current offered buy the servo plug is to small. I will keep you posted!
