Status: offline 		a guy i know will sell me a 2.5 t-maxx for $100. it has a steering servo problem and he replaced the motor about 1 year ago and "says" he never started it. he also said that he put a pull start on it but still has the e-z start for it. i want to know if ya'll think it would be worth it. he says that other than the servo, there aint 1 thing wrong with it any info will b-great thanks!!!

Status: offline 		u need to see if he did after run maintenence to cuz if he didnt and it has been sittin for a year that could be RLY RLY bad...but if he took care of it the way he was supposed to, then go for it...

Status: offline 		i agree with them... make sure u ask if the engine is broken in or not... and make sure it works!!! have him start it up. if he makes any excuses dont buy it.

Status: offline 		For 100 dollars, buy it, motor bad or not. Then you could throw an O.S. .18 in it, and be better then new, for only 200 bucks.

Status: offline 		He said he replaced the motor and never fired it. So it should be new. Id still make him start it and if it wont start offer him 50 and maybe you'll get it for 75 bucks.

Status: offline 		i would get it too, although, even if he never ran the engine, if its mounted maybe he tried and couldn't get it started so put it on the shelf. make sure no fuel have been through it and if it has, check to see if he did after run procedures.

Status: offline 		Even a rolling chassis on ebay goes for more than that. Buy it, junk motor or not. You will either get a good deal and have to buy a new motor, or get a great deal and the motor works.

I just purchased a New in Box Revo for $300

Status: offline 		the only reason i was asking is that i already have a revo that i DONT use, bought the thing and then i lost intrest in it totally. i guess i am thinking if i get the maxx it will get me back into the game.(i duno just a thought) i was not aware that just the chassis sold for $100.

Status: offline 		Check out ebay item #6027877003. It's a tmaxx rolling chassis and is already over $150... Even if you don't use it, part it out and sell it.
