Just another gutless EDF?
I always thought electric ducted fans would take the back seat to turbines for performance until I saw this video. The only details I have is that it uses a custom made fan, 8S3P lipo batteries & the top speed is around 300 km/h. Nope, just the airframe. I did the math a while back on it using the Schubeler fans and LiPos and came up with a total cost of roughly $4K.

Don't know why $759 seems so totally out of line just because it's EDF. People are willing to pay 3 times that for a turbine airframe. It's still just composite, that blade 2 looks big enough a guy could put a couple small turbines in there too if you wanted

That is probably a 1.4Kw to 1.8Kw jet, Very nice and flying like a jet should. The old Kyosho EDF F-16 was a 300W and could be pumped up to 600W+ - still a slow flyer jet...

The Blade II is awesome, Morris of "Ductedfans.com" has them. I've seen it fly and wow!
