Ya, the classes were split! And thats not even the best part. We STILL had 3 heats of REGULAR MT's!!! And a FULL heat of Outlaws... Ya, we are growing. We rocked this entire season soo far, and will continue to do so. We are not only the largest group, we are also some of the fastest in the building! More and more guys are wanting to switch to MT now. I'll let the guys know about the sign up issue on bannedRC.

SPLIT CLASSES!?!?!?!? I definitely have to make it next week, been doing some mods to the truggy (unbelievable amount of steering now) and maybe a few other surprises. Oh, Matt, on Bannedrc I couldn't register for some reason, could you let the guy on the thread there from Texas know that there is a Texas series, and if he is interested have him email me at rcpromichigan@yahoo.com and I'll put him in touch with the Texas rep.

Ken, how much have you run the truck since cleaning the one-way? Money bags Chris bought it, and Eric walked out with a new LST2. Which is good. Eric was fast with that LST2. I never understood him selling it. His best race ever was his first day with that truck. Oh and i think the 18B walks away for the second week now with the win. Gotta love the mini racin! Jake and I had some fun laps with the minis though.

Brian, the MGT looks better every time man. I think a little setup work, and just some more patience on the track, and you'll be an A-main regular.

Thanks. I think the key is more patience on the track. I was doing good for awhile. I think I even had the lead for awhile. After the pit I got tangled up a few times and tried pushing it too much to catch up and made things worse. I'll have to let you drive it sometime to see what you think might need changing for the set up on the truck. I don't think it is too bad right now, but there is room for improvement. I mainly got to smooth out my driving. I need to get down there during the week for some practice time. It does seem the track gets better throughout the day for me. That B main race was close. 1st was 26 laps at 10:11:09 with 17.41 mph avg, 2nd was 25 laps 10:00:42 at 17.03 mph avg, 3rd (Eric) was 25 laps 10:06:20 at 16.87 mph avg, 4th (me) was 25 laps 10:14:81 at 16.63 mph avg. I had much better luck with the transponders today.

Chris, thanks for pitting for me.

I ran it all day Friday, and on the last run, I noticed it starting to slip again. The snap was gone from acceleration..

GO ASSOCIATED! Good to know RC18s are sweepin up the Duracraps (Zips up flame suit) Once I get off my butt and put a steering servo in mine, Ill be able to drive and have some fun with the Mini's too! Whens the new track commin!?!

That was cool to see the mini's hang with the 1/10th trucks. I still can't believe how those things fly. They make those doubles better than my terra crusher.

wait... Eric sold the Jammin? LMAO.... Whered he get the LSt2? I need details of this one!!!!

Yes, I cleaned mine with brake cleaner and soaked it in synthetic oil, then let it drip off for a bit before I wiped off 99% of the residue before I re-installed it.

I had a good day, trying to get used to the Quik-Turn is exciting to say the least...did well 2nd. Qual'ed 3rd. Kitty is still awaiting diffs and to break in this STS.

Though at these temps I'm more apt to stay closer to home and run Larry's Stadium instead.

I did break the Duratrax...the aftermarket K-Factory shocks a plastic piece broke....GRRRR chinese trash.

Hmm... I never had this problem with a one way on my original LST. Maybe i'll just swap out a one way bearing there, and some new slipper pads. Rule out any chance of defective one way. I dont like losing races like that. I had a 2 lap lead today...

And ya, the 18B is holdin its own. I love the little buggy.

I had something slipping in my tranny last 2 race days too Not sure exactly what it is. I replaced the entire unite with my LST1 setup which had a 2 race old one-way, new pads, ti-ni gears. Still did the same thing. Seemed to really do it on a cold start. All I would do is tighten the slipper nut and it would engage again. When I removed the original slipper that thing was REALLY HOT, so I assume it was doing way to much slipping. I suspect the diameter of the shaft might be slightly off...never had this problem with the LST1. Or it could be as simple as the nut coming loose...I am going to replace the nut with a new one to see if it holds.

Matt, did you try the stock tires on the LST2?

Eric, thought I had dibs on the Jammin Who is Chris the Shooter anyway? You mean Doda?
