    Status: offline     		Hello, I'm considering purchasing the Redcat 1/8th scale Tremor. Is this the same as yours?? I'm also considering purchasing the Redcat Tornado BB. With the Tornado I've read that i should change the cluch bell and the clutch spring right off the bat (before I even run it). Have you heard of doing anything like this with the Tremor also?? Any info you got for me would be appreciated!! Thanks!

    P.S. I'm pretty new to the RC scene. My first one was a Traxxas Revo but that was about a year ago.

    Status: offline     		Sorry, but on Ebay (where I saw the listing) it says the Tremor XTB Redcat Nitro RC Buggy. I though I was in the right place. Do I have something mixed up??

    Status: offline     		The tremor is 1/16th not 1/8th. Its a lot smaller.

    Status: offline     		Yeah, I have been busy at work too. Weather not to good this time of year down here, so racing has been called off due to rain for the last few meetings.
    Had a bit of a consolidation of my RC gear. I had too much "stuff" lying around and had a big sell up on our local on-line auction site.
    Put the profits into a new Spektrum DX3R controller and servos, plus some upgrades and spare parts for my buggy and on-roader, which is all I have in the garage now. It's good actually, just having the two cars, as I have them set up exactly as I want them and have enough RC funds to race them and keep them in good condition.
    Just hanging out for a few more months until spring comes and then I will be right into it

    I have not used mine in ages then i got back into it. But now i have broken my pull starter cord and need to replace this before i can run it again. I miss it like crazy.
    I wish i was as good as you grizz5. I am currently doing the opposite. more and more projects. I now have 2 boats (cat and an eco), the hurricane, a mini-t. tc4 and just started a 4wd f1 car.
    What did you up grade from? i have a dx3.0.

    I upgraded from the 3.0 to the new DX3R, and upgraded recievers to the new generation SR3100 units. When you combine this set up with digital servos you get super fast response times and operating speeds. The difference is quite noticable.
    My big clean out - yep, well I had to do something. I had about 18 months worth of "stuff" lying around doing nothing. You probably know the story. Pipes you experimented with, old shocks you upgraded, spare motors you bought and never used etc, etc. In the end I got around $1500 back in my pocket, some of which went on the new DX3 and some racing spares, while the rest is stashed away for this summers racing expenses
    The better half is happy, and my spare room / workshop is a lot tidier
    It's good to have lots of projects to keep you occupied. I am a keen golfer, and run a custom club making and repair business as well as my full time job in the Fire Service. By the time I fit my nitro fix in there I don't have a lot of spare time to be bored. Except when we have really bad weather like we are having now. No golf, no nitro Still spring will be here in a couple of months
