For starters I'm sure you would end up having to gear down like I'm going to on my 1/8...I don't have one of the 1/10's (except the truck) but from what I have read about them...don't they have all plastic gears??....if thats the case...you may open up a big can or worms...

I guess you could try it and see what happens? *shrugs*

Yeah....with the dimensions you gave me in that P.M. (4 1/4 x 2 1/4) they measure the same as the Volcano tires so you SHOULD be O.K....

I was concerned if you went with tires and wheels as big as the ones I have on my 1/8 (T-maxx tires and wheels)...they are 5 1/2 x 3 so they are huge and the weight is the biggest issue...they weigh almost 2 1/2 times what the stock ones do...besides gearing down I'm also going to need to go with heavier duty clutch shoes and springs..

So yeah...try it out and let us know how it works...afterall...part of the fun of these is experimenting to see what works and what doesn't as far as mods go.

Ordered a Tornado XP and a couple extra parts today from Dennis 'Chubbysdad'. Good customer service with the best prices I've found on the net and very fast response time! Also got a fresh quart of Trinity Monster horsepower %20 just waiting to break this little mill in. Will hopefully add the Hurricane XP sometime in the near future .

Only bummer is,we got like 1/2 inch of snow on the ground and it is super cold outside and next weeks not lookin any better so I'll have plenty of time to study the tuning thread and all bits of info I can cram in.

Thanks.

I by chance drove my car into the mouth of a drain at speed

I broke the front diff cover, bent my Aluminum front shockproof plank, snapped the front left shock and killed the shell

What a first day of running, after 3 tanks of putting around i felt the need to piss fart ass around (after breaking it in), the neighbours didn't help, I circumed to there pressure to impress, what a show it was, a few sprints up and down the street and it hit 2nd, I still dont know how far the range is on the buggy so I hit the anchors. In 3 seconds time my buggy is wedged half way in. It took us 20 min's to get the thing out, the front shocks tore the top of the concrete up inside the drain, at the speed I hit I was expecting the whole front end to just break into 2. Pretty strong buggies!

Drains and buggies don't mix (Atomic Warhead .18 engine, same as the Tornado)
