Vertical 3-D, I have'nt heard from you for awhile.. I posted question about pressure fittings on Speed-RC NITRO Boats, you was the only good answer I got.Thank you.Anyway I got my stuff from tower, that .18 is being exchanged for the pull start version,I wish I'd talked to you first.I'm still sending it to tnt, setting for all the top end I can get.The people at local hobby store is NO HELP on anything I ask,I'm starting to think the place is just a front...I was wondering what electronic speed control was.I asked them if I could use it on a nitro,he said I don't see why not. However I think they are for electric motors. I got a whole box of parts for nitro vee,I took pictures ,will post as soon as I figure out how.I'm changing about everything,I got a new radio,Spektrum DX3,Spektrum 3000 reciever, and new servo's.No more interference,I had alot of problems with AM setup.Did you ever put that Traxxas header on,I am still wondering exactly where to put pressure fitting on pipe,I'm going to put one on header flat for lube line, but am going to wait on drilling pipe for pressure line.

yeah an electronic speed control is for electric motors, it feeds the power to the motor and the reciever, and is of no use on nitro things, your really going all out on this little boat. Im gonna run mine this week, supposed to be very nice out, I saw your question on there about the pipe and though oh boy, all these race guys and "professional" boaters dont realize theres a lube line on there, I did put my boat in the rcu market b ut im asking a fairly high price for it and dont think anyone will want it, just figured if i can get around twice what i bought it for it cover my mods and i could buy another one to work with, but after school I will be going nutz on it, sure it wont sell, but I am still stuck on wanting a dynamite .32 in there, thatd really be something else in such a small boat, the pipe would look enormous. and so would the prop, but its sure go fast...

There is this guy selling "super fast Nitro Vee" on eBay,its fairly new,all stock out of the box,and he swears 75 MPH is not a problem. Better jump on it now. I guess I must have bought a bad one.

I was just wondering why did'nt you get a fuel tank from Traxxas for 15.00??What happened?Did the mount screws get tightened to tight and break it?

ya i am with vertical on this one....75 mph? **** i dont think so...anyways i always order from tower... excellent quallity from them.... no hassles either. and also i wont deal straight through traxxas as they dont sign anyone up in their forums with hotmail or other free accounts... also vertical and i submitted our boats for surfers rides and they still have not appeared in that section.....****? are they that mad that we are modding the boats to what should have been done before they went to market? the way they put the outflow of water into the muffler? whats up with that....duh, water backup into engine and they wont do anything after that happens so they make more money off ya by you buying a new engine..... anyways there is my 2 cents again....and no jim the tank was toasted when i got the boat... hence the new floor inside it...

I went in last night after seeing the posting and found it myself. That ad was so full of crap that I needed hip waders to get through it. Broken in and tuned at the factory. Yeah, right. 75 MPH+ and it's the stock engine? What a dreamer.
I sent him a nice little note last night and am anxiously awaiting a reply.
It's not by far the lamest ad that I've seen but certainly right up there. It still hasn't beat the 70 MPH Radio Shack boat (real speed a hair over 2 MPH if the woman had done the elementary school math) or the 200 MPH Prather 3.5 outrigger hydro with a special floatation material (Micro-balloons). Sorry, I need a good laugh, I'll think I'll see what eBay has up for bid.............

Yup, he got busted and is now lying more to try to get himself out from under the first one.
It must be that he got my message and those of others. I guess that he's hoping to find someone with a bad case of stupid to bid on his boat. Unfortunately there are way too many of this kind of person
