like a Macchi or Yak...although H9 is not moving in that direction,....I'll gladly scratchbuild those!!

Status: offline 		Since KMP did a Hurri and it turned out nice, a 60 size would be a repeat.

But a Hanger 9 1.50/ 50cc Hurri would be most welcome. I'd buy two !

And now back to ......

I still think an flap update of the current Corsair would be a huge success.
Now 'THAT' I would be buying at least two of. Just like I have two Stearmans now - and plan on getting a third! Also bought the GP P-6E Hawk. Another in the .60-1.00 size range.

Hanger 9 - do you see a trend here on where my money is going and what I'm spending it on and what I would be buying?

Another candidate - a Bucker Jungmeister. One of Germanys pre-war 'trainers'. In .60-1.00 size, of course.

That said, give me anything (think P-26 Peashooter, F11C2 Goshawk, Beech Staggerwing) in the 50cc range and that's where I'll spend my $. Pretty much anything with a round engine please.

93" like the Traplet plans. There is a laser kit available out of France but it is the only one I can find anywhere. There are plenty of Mosquito kits and other warbirds, but there is a distinct lack of Beaufighters anywhere.

By the way Mike, Hangar 9 need to start leading the way and glueing their ARFs better. The Corsair has received a fair bit of criticism and I am in the process of stripping and re-glueing mine at the moment.

I suggested the Beau to the guys at KMP/YT as it seems they're really into doing more of the unusual birds, wouldn't that just be the cat's whiskers if there was a beaufighter available ? With the short nose it would have to be a gasser, twin G-26's would be perfect.

Status: offline 		And sometimes you gotta throw caution to the wind, grow some brass balls and just make a statement I'll bet there are plenty of Brits and Aussies (And some Yanks) who would love to tuck a Beaufighter into their Hanger without all the hassle of scratchbuilding one from a kit.

Yak, Lagg, La-5, La-7, I-15, I-16, Mig-3 Any will do nicely!

Italian:

Status: offline 		A 60size Yak 9 would be real sweet, I'm thinking of an electric conversion down the road and that would be perfect. Though my first choice of a Dauntless or Helldiver would what I'm looking for.

This hobby is just out of control, waaaaayyy too many planes to build, buy or assemble....

Hey Mike - Still with us or have you got the information to support a plane already in the makes ?

Status: offline 		Well, after looking at this thread I would pull the following out as good contenders (In no particular order);

Stuka
Hurricane
La-5
TBM Avenger (working torpedo doors of course)
Hellcat
FW-190A-4 (You could add fiberglass gun cover for those wanting to convert to the A-8)

I would prefer matt finish and at least 80" span to make small gas engines viable (hmmm...who was it that was carrying the Evolution engines?).
