Has anyone used the new Spektrum DX6 system with the larger micro helis, such as the T-Rex 450XL? Would you recommend this radio for a T-Rex?

scuba,

I'll let you know- got my t-rex kit tonight and stealing the DX6 radio out of the Blade! From some of the "static" issues with the belt drive, maybe the DX6 will be the best thing- no more rf glitches.

Cheers

yes and it flies great.... i love it.... so far im glitch free... although the spektrum servos are kind of cheesy.. its hit or miss... 2 of my servos dont work right... but the radio is totally worth it...

rcrac3r,

How about sharing your settings on the DX6 - I have only used on the Blade and would like to have some reference point - if you wouldn't mind :0) Where did you mount your rx and gyro? Have you flown in idleup yet? Any help greatly appreciated. Just finished physical assembly and mounted servos- still engineering power and radio.
