Do the formed parts for the F16 come with PDF plans to print out so you can cut the Depron pieces yourself?

if you can print out PDF plans then you need to check out the original design by Hans Jochin Walter,

my kit is the same size and all the parts are pre cut to fit perfectly,

the vacuum formed parts will not fit Han Jochin Walter's original design but there are lots of people who have built from scratch his F16 design,

if you purchase the Vacuum formed parts i include a paper template of the depron parts so you can cut them out yourself

i am always looking for very good motors and EDFs that are withing a realistic price range that perform very well,

i have already used the 55mm EDF in another design and it performs very well so i am building a F16 with the 76mm edf early January

KEEPING THE THREAD ALIVE!!!

Yea... That UF bae hawk I had built a few posts back flew awesome and clocked in at 135 mph at almost full throttle. Second flight in the receiver decided to stop receiving... (piece of crap art-tech receiver) Turned my hawk into a badly aimed ballistic missile that came down full speed and turned it into confetti....

Its my own fault for using a crap receiver instead of going out to buy a good micro 7 channel (Which I did afterward But someone said that the UF hawk would not handle the weight and torque of my setup.... I did it

I have a radar gun but have not been able to fly my Depron F18 long enough to clock it. Based on my MotoCalc info my Depron 3D Foamy F18 with a MiniFan 480 EDF unit would have a top speed of about 75MPH with a 3 turn 16-15-3 brushless and 4 cell LiPo pack. Max power used about 430 watts. If I were to put a 2 turn motor in it power consumption goes up to 932 watts! Top speed however is only estimate at 100 MPH. To get 135 MPH I'd have to use 2 packs in parallel of 4 cell 3300mAh batteries and the power consumption is 2070 watts! However, that setup did give an estimated top speed of 135 MPH. But props are more efficient so I guess you can get that speed with less power consumption? I'm wondering how the foam would hold up to >100MPH speed without being covered with a balsa skin or something to make it more ridgid?

working on it

at the moment the UK-US shipping costs are MAD
i have checked out every avenue so now its down to reducing the size of the box.. less packaging to make them more cost effective to send out,
the only benifiet i can see is i am designing my kits around a very cost effective edf/motor,

Ray

the website address is http://depronjet.vstore.ca
