Just make sure you break it in properly befor you start playing around. Buggies dont go that good in grass unless its short. Not alot of ground clearance.

I don't do it personally but it would probably be better if you all smoked the grass and drove the buggy in the dirt where it belongs

the tornado bb has pillowball suspension so i dont think exceed or the other companies have that suspension. You can get parts for it from: http://www.clermontmotorsports.com/servlet/StoreFront i get stuff in 2 or 3 days and i live in ny and he is in fl.

to stop your engine, put your finger on the exhaust pipe and it will stall pretty quickly, you can pinch the fuel line too but i dont like to do this since you run the engine lean.

hey man I just bought a redcat lightning and a himoto rapida from a guy off ebay and I have been having a hell of a time getting it to run. Ive had it checked out and it is all set...I got it to run finally but than I noticed that i had some fuel blowby coming from under the head...so I removed the head and gave it a total cleaning and put the head back on and tightened up the exhaust manifold while I was at it...so than I took it back outside and attempted to start it again and now it is hard to pull the start cord...whats going on. This is my first nitro rc car and Im almost ready to give up already...any help would be much appreciated.

the gasket (shim) between the head and the top of the cylinder may have fallen out.

thanks...yeah I ended up adding a washer right after I wrote that and sure enough it lowered the compression enough so that it pulled freely...now I just have to learn how to tune an rc car better!
