Topgun2mo -> Fuel Capacity (11/27/2002 12:38:44 AM)

Any ideas on what size fuel tank I would need for a Jett 90L to give me at least a 5 min flight with some reserve?

Oh yea...at HIGH throttle settings!

Thanks

p.s.
I had a Jett 50 until the motor mount broke when I crashed it into a lake due to a radio failure. An 8oz tank seemed like it gave me 5 mins or less.

Thanks

Mike

Hi,

Thank you for writing.

The 90L at full power and high RPM will burn upwards of 2.5 oz per minute. On average, 2 oz per minute is what you might expect. I run mine with a 16 oz tank, and get a bit more than 8 minutes of flight time flying flat out.

Bob
