hi all bought a mt2 built it my self got it running then it died think clutch is slippin cos engine is still runnin any ideas

i'm not sure about the coversions i'm more of a savage freak. but about that no go, if u had ur car for a while it might be slipping but it car also be the spur gear maybe u stripped it chek the teeth also chek the teeth on ur cluchbell make sur nothing is stripped another think check ur mesh make sure it's not to loose

stripped the teeth off it is there a metal replacment they do

like i said i'm more of a savage freak but yeah there are replacments go to the website u bought it on they'll have them or if u have a local hobbyshop bring in ur car they will hook u up because there pretty hard to install if it's the first time for u

also if u bring it in a hobbystore and install it for u ask if the mesh is good this is how u strip things. if u have to do it i recondmend u try not and bring it somewhere. i remember the first time i did it i got a brand new spur and the first 5 minutes i stripped it again cuz the mesh was not correct. u have to make sure the mesh is correct.

like i say i'm a savage freak i don't know. y do u want to get a spur gear but u can only find one for a savage?

i'm not sure if u still have ur old spur then put them up to eachother see if there the same size
