i right now have the 2.5 and i here people complain about it. so i was thinking about upgrading to a os "can never go wrong with them." so would the .12 CV-RX be a good replacement for it? i would go with sumthin like the .12tz but it is too expensive for me.

hahahaha, 17 minutes per tank. yes 17 minutes on a 75cc tank is crap my mate gets 34 minutes with his novarossi. hahahaha. nuh its great really. but i am replacing all my bearing with ceramics soon, so fix up a few air leaks.

but in all seriousness i DO get 17 mins a tank. so rest assured its good.

Either you run that engine really lean or you dont like hitting the gas that much. O.o

Anyways, I have a Traxxas 2.5r engine and I have had no problems with it. OS i have had no problems with. You need to break them in diffrently though.

i run 25% nitro and just 8% oil so my end point leaves the carbie at only about 60% when wide, which is all it needs as the powerband is there way before that.

i only get about 10-12 minuets per tank on the 2.5. 17 is alot better then what im use to. it also could be that it is a smaller engine though.

the 2.5 has more power, dont expect the same wheelstands out of the cv r but the cv-r is a smaller much more responsive revier engine.

i would rather go with the responce then the wheel stands. just gatta get some good off road tires, and some on road foam for fun at home.

will the tz fit in my rustler? the rustler is a rear exhaust when the tz is a side.

btw, yes i am dropping my engine size, but i will gain more. its not torque that wins the race, its speed and acelleration
