Some do...as long as they are made for AE RC10 T3, they should fit fine.

Going brushless!!!! I just ordered a MM 6900 from RC Superstore. I wanted a 5700, but long story short, none has them in stock. I have no plans of running lipo batteries on, only nimh 7.2v for now, it so it should give me identical performance as the 5700 would on the same power. I can just program the ESC to run the motor like it's a 5700. Anyway, I also have an aluminum idler and a transmission rebuild kit, stock diff gear and thrust bearing rebuild kit (should I ever need it) on the way from Tower. Also a couple stock spurs, Robinson racing 87T spur and an AE 17T pinion on the way. Is there anything else I should know about strengthening the drivetrain to handle this beast of a motor system? I do know that I will keep my slipper as loose as possible to keep damage risk to a bare minimum.

Good luck, hopefully they'll have a horn for the Hitec.

Check this out.... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHEG0&P=7 It has 3 horns, one for each size of servo spline. And, it is made from the hard composite that the rest of the chassis and suspension arms are. This should definitely help as this servo I have in it is an Ultra Torque beast! I have the steering kit ordered and on the way!

Good find! I might need to get it in the future, I actually have a high torque Traxxas servo in, and the stock horn worked, I was suprised. But I find I swap out servos often, I'm gonna bookmark that link.

EDIT: dang, I see my pal did not logout again, lol. I'm ohgrfreak.

So, who else is running their vader from a MM 6900? What should I be aware of as far as running it off of this motor/ESC?
