Here's a few pics of my Evader BX, I also have a ST. I'm Running a Trinity CO27 ROAR stock motor, with the stock pinion and spur, Pro-Line Bowties in the rear, Pro-Line wide ribbed in the front, both on Duratrax wheels. I've had a problem getting good rear traction and nose diving on big jumps, so I did this small mod to move the battery all the way back. This mod has worked out perfectly and the car handles much better on the track.

I had to trim the 2 small pieces off, inside the rear bulkhead where the stock battery hold down strap goes. My packs would not fit inside the bulhead at all before doing this.

Then I took the two metal pieces from a Traxxas battery hold down where the pins go through, screwed them into two aluminum Frog/Blackfoot transmission threaded inserts, drilled a couple of holes in my chassis and screwed the new upright pieces I made in place.

I took my Evader hold down, marked it cut it to length and drilled a new hole in it.

To keep the battery from sliding forward, I use a small piece of velcro on the battery pack and underneath the new hold down. It makes the hold down fit nice and snug against the battery and the velcro keeps it from sliding forward in a crash or hard landing.

I'm back! It's been awhile, but I have a question. I lost one of my universal dogbones while driving and I want to replace it with something better. Will these work? It'll be going on my Evader ST. Are those CVDs good or does anyone have anything else in mind?

P.S. New Evader ST you tube vid coming soon!

yes the nitro evader cvd's will work perfectly in fact there stronger, i know i have them in mine.

Just wanted to post a few pics of my new body, a ProLine body for a T4, I think, lol. Took some metallic blue and painted from the front to the bed (stadium trucks have beds, right?), then backed it with racing green, hence the amount of green at the rear. Also painted the gear cover that's basically worthless being clear. When there is a problem and you need to look at the spur, the dang cover is usually too dirty to see through anyway. To get this sucker to fit, had to make some room up front for the shocks to poke through, it works and adds some cooling as well.

why the T4 body, looks like you had to make holes in it... the losi mf2 and xxxt bodies oth electric and nitro work well with evaders, almost a direct drop in.

The only 1/10th stadium body my LHS had. Yup, made some holes, hence stating making room for the shocks. I think it came out nicely considering...

No problem. I like to support local shops first, and usually any 1/10th scale will fit with slight modification, I just had to take this one a little further than I was prepared for, lol.

Does anyone know where I can get a new rear wing for our BX? I only find them included with a whole new body. Are there any other wings that will work?

Joe
