I'm trying to make some sound decisions buying lipo batteries. It seems the Thunder Power 3S 2100mah battery (or equivalent) is becoming the standard for many larger Parkflyer type planes. So I already have a few of the 2100's.

Has anybody used the Hobby Lobby series modules to attach two lipo batteries together for increased amperage? There are times when I need a bit more amperage than the 2100mah battery can provide alone. If this module works well than I can save myself alot of money not buying bigger batteries.

Seems like a great idea and gives alot of versatility with the lipos. Is this type of setup easy to use without alot of hassle? I would like to be able to switch back and forth between using the batteries one at a time and using in series. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks

A series module by definition will not increase current by it will increase voltage. To increase current you would need to use two packs the same number of cells and a parallel module.
John

EDIT FMA parallel module
