Hi all.
I need help I bought a pizzaz. I would like to know which one has more thrust. Please don't tell me that these engines are to much for this plane believe me I know. I just want to do alot of hovering and 3d and I thought the ys 91 might be good because of the fuel system. But my other choices were a saito 100 and and os 91fx 2 stroke!! I really like power so these choices would be good. Please don't turn this thread into engine suggestions (unless you have a GREAT idea) the last thing I need are more choices. If anybody new the thrust of these engines that would be great. THANK YOU

I put a Saito 100 in mine for a time. It was great! The nice thing about theis engine is its weight, I just had to move the battery to the rear of the wing and it balance out great.

I agree with Ground Zero....Saito 100 all the way. I own Saito and OS 4 strokes and the Saito's are by far superior. As for the YS....too heavy.

OH YEAH....91fx!!! LOL.....Sorry, it's late!! I would still go Saito 100. Lower revs, bigger prop, better sound, more pull, the list goes on and on.........

Saito 100!

Its the lightest of the three and this will be very important on a small plane like the pizazz.

If it was something bigger like the U-Can-Do I would want to buy a YS90 or new YS110 for their fuel system and hopefully better power.

Well...don't get me wrong. YS engines are good engines. But the YS 91 weighs 800g and is a 14.9cc while the Saito 100 weighs 550g and is a 17.1cc. Even the Saito 120 only weighs 820g and is a 20cc. You would get the best bang for your buck with a saito. Plus the reliability of the engine too. Saito has been making 4s for a really long time (I can't remember exactly how long).

On www.horizonhobby.com they have a comparison between the saito 100 and os 91fx. But I think there is a problem the saito engines deliver lots of tork but spin slower then a two stroke in the test they ran heavy apc propsso of corse the saito was more powerful. Did they just do that so they could sell more engines or would that be true if they ran a wooden peop????? interesting

I would think that the reason that they used an APC prop is because that is the prop that MOST people use. I know that's the prop that I choose to use. Unless I'm going for scale apperance, then it's wood/carbon fibre.

But for raw power, you have to go with the OS 91.

Just a better power to weight ratio.

Between the YS and Saito, I am personally biased towards the YS, and unless you have owned one you will not know why
