wildspeed -> Recommended Plug for .18 Buggy ? (2/9/2006 2:45 AM)

Was wondering what plug to get to replace when the stock one fail ?

The car is the Tornado XP with the .18 engine.
I live in FL and run 20% Nitro.

I figure out that I will need a hot plug or medium hot, but was is the difference between the long tip & the short one ? if any

Thanks for any input.

Hope they will do find.

Still interested on getting some tips...

Hey man..

I have a Volcano truck but it has the same motor as your buggy...

If you are still doing break in I would suggest using the plug that came with the motor unless that one is trashed....I use McCoy MC-59 plugs in both my rigs..it is a medium hot plug and is a good all around plug....you could also ask you LHS to see what they recommend.

I have a MC59 too, but it is longer than the stock one ( the tread part). Is that not a problem ?

Wish I could, but Winter/Spring is the busy season for me, don't get to much time off .
I let you know if something come up before May.

No...you shouldn't have a clearance problem...I haven't...it's usually when you get into the smaller engines (under .18) that it can become an issue.
