I E mailed scott @ polks asking if I ordered a radio now if it would have the updates. he replied saying that all new radios shipped out will have all the new updates, and they are working on the cards for people who already have the radios... so I guess this is good stuff. I wish I was better with all the programming stuff so I could give a review of the new updates, sorry guys. but yeah I ordered it today so hopefully really soon...

I received my TrackerIII yesterday and most of the updates are working as planned; however, the main reason i waited so long to order the thing was so the always on mixes would work... they do not at this point on my unit... I select !QUOT!N!QUOT! for the switch as per the instructions and the mix does not work??? anyone else having this prob? I hope i'm just a moron and forgot to do something because it looks like I would have to send the unit back wait, wait wait and then get it back in 2 weeks or more... we'll see how it goes...

braceforimpact You are not a moron. The switch assignment to N always on doesn't work on the New Tracker 3.

Before my purchase of T3 I emailed Polk's Hobbys and asked for a PDF manual.

The manual on page 22 says how to select switch to NO there isn't a NO there is a N which turns mix off, Doesn't work!

Yesterday I called them and spoke to John Gill. He said it should work and was gonna call me back in a few minutes . NEVER DID!!

Today I called again and spoke to John Gill. He got one of the new T3's. His didn't work either and was gonna see what he could do about it.

John said he would call me back in a few minutes. It has been a few HOURS.

Only Minutes after sending my last Message the Phone rang and it was John Gills. I was told you have to go to track one , SWITCH POSITION, and set this to active down.

I asked it there would be a fix for this. He said there would be one in the works. 7-8 months.

I have breifly tried this and don't believe this will work. I will get more time on it later.

Yes, I think I have got it. it doesn't affect dual rates as they are assigned to 1 or 2 up or down.

For thr mix to be on with no switch assignment .
1. Track 1 "switch active" down
2. Track 2 mix switch assingment (N)
In V1.37.5 The Latest version this turns the mix on with no switch.

I sent my T3 back for the SW upgrade because I wanted the + or - shift selection capability. I just got under the wire datewise for the free upgrade. Now I wish I hadn't bothered because when my T3 came back I found that the aileron servos no longer centered with the trim lever in the center of its travel. I have to push the trim lever all the way to the right to center the ailerons on all my planes. I have to put in a ludicrous amount of sub trim in order to center my servos electronically and I don't get symmetrical travel then. I don't know whether to send the T3 back or mechanically center all my planes' servos, which means they'd be way off with my other Xmitters. If I send it back it will be the 4th time I've mailed it off to Polk's. I'm truly getting tired of messing with the thing.

Anyone else run into this centering problem?

CR

Edited for typos.
