Some of the newer free downloads are not appearing after initial installation. First off ... don't worry nothing is broken. IPACS released a new version with the new expansion pack which is now version: 1.9.0. Some of the modelers who have this new expansion pack are creating and saving their models with this version number which won't work for people that have 1.8.0 right out of the chute.

Soultion, if you install an airplane and it does not show up in the list: First goto the specific model folder in IPACS/Aircraft directory. Now look for the .TMD file. Open the .TMD file with notepad. You will see at the top of the .TMD something that says VERSION NUMBER 1.9.0. Change the 9 to an 8. Now hit file then save. That's it. Go back to the program and you'll see the plane.

Thanks and enjoy the sim!

Another quick method, since i could not open the file. I do not know what effects this will have for AFPD. I downloaded the Rap 90 from rc-sim.de. Then went back to my desktop and created a new folder and saved the Rap50 file into the new folder and renamed it to the 90 and saved it over the other 90.tmd. I seems to work fine.

You need AFPD and you must have the new 1.8 patch installed for that to work. You can get the patch at www.ipacs.de

I have AFPD and 1.8. I can get teh slowride 3d to work fine but when I try to get any of the 4d planes not just the slowride to work it show an error and shuts down. I have tried to reload it many times but still, I get the same problem.
