I'd try locking down the spur, then. You've got too much slip going on.

yeah good idea. might be just that. i'll take a look and see how tight i actually had it and buy a new spur on monday and rip around the truck again.

any ideas on my driveline problem?
when i hold the back wheels and push the front forward it makes a nasty click sound when it should actually lock up the wheels. i'm thinking it is a ring/pinion gear crunch problem..the sound only comes from the front but i don't see any signs of metal shards of anything..even when i'm ripping around the yard i pull the throttle and the back wheels light up and the front wheels kinda are at about 3/4 when you compare to the rear tires.

so i don't know. i think it may be my front bulkhead set that needs replacing cause the one i have now for the front is defective? causing a wrong alinement and therefore making it crunch.

beets me...what do you think?

How tight is that nut? I've had good luck tightening it to full lock, then backing off about a quarter-turn.

Yeah i did exactly that but no sucess. i did the paper trick aswell and i burned 2 today..
it just happens like id go off a jump then go to do a speed run and the engine just goes "Wreeeeeee.." cause of the clutchbell practically MELTING the spur gear....

hmmm sounds like your engine mount is moving after the jump.

humm...that would explain why the one side of my spur gear is melted..the clutchbell touched the spur and melted the one side and the gears..Humm..inteeresting. guess it's time for a new mount.

Yeah well been there done that. 2 of the screw holes are stripped anyway need a new mount, not that much for a new one roughly about 10 bucks.
