Didn't want to take my JVC digital camcorder out in the snow flurries. I've already hit the tripod it was on once. I'll put the clip here in a few minutes. LOL
Here it is. My .21 TMAXX brake test...OOPS

No, but the differences between it and every other Savage out there basically amount to maintenance items, so all the vids you've seen still apply.

Sure you can, but do you really want to drop $50 to replace a $5 part? I see no reason to spend that much on those parts, they won't improve the truck any, in fact, they will increase rotational inertia in the driveline and slow down acceleration a (minute) bit.

actually, yes, I do...I have no problem paying that for a part that's going to save me from buying more plastic spurs (and more importantly saving me the Time involved in r&r!)

Well, there you go, you can do that. Personally, I think that this is a one off problem, my original Savage never wore out or broke a spur gear in the 3 years I owned it. I also know for a fact that when he calls HPI on Monday (if they are open, it's a holiday), they will send out a replacement. There's no way I'll be dropping $50 on the steel spur, plus the extra for the racing clutch bell they say you have to have to use it.

I just had it out again, got the 1st tank done. Had to richen it up because of the cold. Ran it up and down my 21 year old son's street (little incline) so it had to work a bit, still didn't put any serious strain on it. Temp only got to 130, just fine for the air temp and the way I was working the throttle. Holiday tomorrow I should be able to finish breaking it in and go get my complimentary tweaking (and the truck gets it's 1st official professional workout/beating/opinion) by my RC guy.

Warhead Wheelie 1 - takes ~25 seconds to load

Warhead Wheelie 2

I'm making my savage x the offroad, dirt racer and my warhead my drag racer
