What time should we leave at? It's a six hour drive from Strathroy. I'm going to make it a little family outing, and spend two nights in motels.

Thanks Tom, that answered all my questions. In reading that memo I was not aware that there was an annual presidents meeting. Only myself to blame for not reading posted liturature from MAAC I guess

The Presidents' meeting is specifically for the Ottawa Valley Zone club presidents.

Hi Don, I don't quite get what you are talking about. What is your point here?

Please keep good notes for those of us who cannot attend

Have a good trip ... get to the new war museum if you get a chance.

Well. According to Mapquest, it's 7.5 hours, not 6 like I thought, and there is no way I'm driving that far...........so I'm flying to Ottawa instead I was already checking out the museum on the net and hope to get there.

In this case, Mapquest is just about right. London (Strathroy) is ~ 6 hr from Deep River -- no stopping to eat -- maybe a quick whizzzz. Ottawa is ~ 2 hr from Deep River.

If you go via 401 to 416, that will knock of some time, soo I would guess 7 hr +, via 401/416.
