serhathakan -> Walkera 36 or 39 (2/18/2006 3:29:27 AM)

I decided to buy one of these helis but i couldnt choose. They look very similar except frame structures.
Can any body tell me about diffrences between them (i know blade dimensions) and suggest?

Jazsa -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (2/20/2006 7:37:05 AM)

Biggest difference I think is the 39s 4 link swash plate. The 39 is of course bigger and in my opinion more powerful. Though a 36 equiped with li-po and brushless motor would not be to far behind in the performance stakes.

The 39 does do one thing better than the 36 and thats crash. Due to its larger blade size, tip speeds are faster. This means that when the ship hits the deck it usually rips itself apart. Its quite spectacular.

I brought my 39 about 6 months ago and have not managed proper flight until I swapped out the tx and rx with a friends eclipse 7. Just on Saturday. The difference was amazing, and just adds testimony that the walkera tx and rx and absolute junk and probally responsible for about 3 out of my 5 stacks (from glitching).

I just actually ordered a barebones 39 as my current airframe is a little to 'loose' from all the stacks.

I would probaly say that the 36 is the way to go. It has much more support in terms of both spare parts and forum articles. This forum alone will get you setup correctly and answer any questions you have. You will have to do a lot of reading though.

Hope that helps.

I will suggest you go for the No. 39, as it is more powerful and also stable (bigger side). You can watch this flying video and see how it fly

I dont trust videos like that so that i dediced to ask
I have searched 39 and 36 on forum. Everybody says only a T-rex clone for 39. Maybe her elecktronics are very useless but it is very cheap and similar t-rex. Stock brushless motor is it enough for 39?

Heli genius -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (2/25/2006 6:24:03 AM)

The Walkera 39# is much better than 36#. All joints fitted with ball bearings. I got my 39 at Pinnacle with good price. They have parts stock at very good price too.

serhathakan -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (2/25/2006 2:41:55 PM)

I have looked a RTF at hobbyjapan.
http://hobbyjapan2000.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=DRAFL39

i dont know vendors very well. Can you suggest a vendor for 39 RTF ?

credence -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (2/25/2006 8:16:57 PM)

If you're going to get a #39, you may aswell just get a proper t-rex, the kits arent that much more in price compared to the Walkera one and parts are better quality.

The #36 is a Shogun V2 clone, but it seems to be one of Walkera's best models at the momemt if these forums are any point of reference.

serhathakan -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (2/25/2006 8:30:00 PM)

I dont have any equipment like radio , servo or gyro so i need a RTF model so that looking cheap and good one and have a belt system :)

thecheatscalc -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (3/3/2006 12:48:19 AM)

pinnacle seems to have pretty good prices (sorry this is straying from the topic a bit) but the shipping takes FOREVER! Here I am waiting for the third week... either it's lost, or... the boat's having a bit of trouble getting to america! the prices are quite good however.

serhathakan -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (3/3/2006 12:53:28 AM)

:S what about hobbyjapan2000?

buacc -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (3/5/2006 9:39:57 PM)

Walkera 60 is the best choice i think. This is the newest model with 7CH. build-in ESC... many many updated electronic parts e.g. Gyro, Servo...
I think that's the best heli from walkera now.

You can get some info from http://www.ehirobo.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=82_90&products_id=3629
But they don't have any photo on it.

serhathakan -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (3/5/2006 10:31:12 PM)

7 CH? Is it contain a gear box or i read wrong?

I searched it but couldnt find any real foto or review .

So how can you say it is best or better than others?

buacc -> RE: Walkera 36 or 39 (3/6/2006 10:24:33 AM)

I just got one from eHIROBO, they have parts for Walkera 60 too.
When i ask them about Walkera 59 and 60, they said they only have walkera 60 parts at the moment, so i choose 60.

It is more easy to fly than 36, i can fly up without any tuning. (may be i am lucky).

Actually, i am newbie, i don't know 3D flight, so i can't give any comment on that. But i am happy on the metal parts, this helicopter more hard to crash than 36.

I don't know how to upload photo. But i think their website will post the photo soon.
