im a newbie at nitro but anyways when i got my car today redcat tornado xp i went to break in engine and when car started it was idling so fast that the tranny shifted into 2nd gear so i turned down idle screw and it didnt help any other suggestions

maby.. thr./brake servo is not centered? check it with reciever and controler on. good luck

Check the switch on your remote controller, be sure that the one for the trottle servo is not reverse.

Also make sure the trim knobs on the controller are not turned all the way up.

Hopefully you didn't damage the motor by having it rev that high on it's first start up.

ALWAYS make sure all electronics are on and the throttle is in the neutral (idle position) before starting.
