Hi there ,

Need some input here , please:

- Will a higher content Nitro mix cool an engine more then a lower nitro content ?

- Does Castor oil keep an engine more cool then sythetic oils.

My webra 32 Heli engine is loosing power since I changed to a blend of 50%Castor and 50% Synthetic ,I was told that my engine is over heating , and that I should change my plug and use a castor blend My engine is new , +/- 20 tanks of fuel used.

Any other views !

no,higher nitro = higher engine temp due to more fuel consumption per stroke.
(many people think it's the other way around-more nitro =cooler engine due to more fuel flow will cool the engine better, but that's wrong because the little more fuel it gets, will burn and give more heat)

no,it depends on how much oil is in the mix,and then it is not noticeable, except when it's too less/much.

change back again to see if it will work ok again.
i don't think that the plug is defect, but change it to be sure.
if you changed to a higher nitro content, the main needle must be opened a little more(close for less),from your description it seems to me that you running lean. (not good)
Webra's are low to no nitro engines,15% nitro is already too much i think.
