Yes./. go to the beginning of this thread for all the info etc... I HAVE not had to adjust this motor AT ALL except to rich or lean it out.. after about 30 tanks of fuel mine still runs as strong as the first day i ran it. i also have the nt18t truck as well and i jump with that one etc.. these my favorite rides of out of all my collection.

well there certainly cheaper now adays then when i got it when it was only reorder. but this is by far my favourite car of any i havel it is so tiny and strangly loud like a .12 motor with so much torque it always amazes me till this day. and ofcourse im talking about the "nt18" onroad.

so if i were just to want to go out, and buy everything i needed to make this car run, how much do you think it would be setting me back now?

i saw it in a magazine before it even came out and i thought it was just so cool, but i decided to wait for a while before i got it

well you came into the picture at a good time. the kit with motor runs roughly $209 so you will need 2 servos a receiver pack and radio. but remember this is a micro 1/18 so you can make a receiver pack with 4 triple AAA and if you have a radio to use a small enough receiver but i see standard receivers on some peoples car. i would say if your buying everything. it will run $350 ( thats with basic radio) oh then a Starter box. you can find them for around $60 unless you go on ebay! then you might save $$

i believe you may pay a few more bucks for the truck version. i have both. i guess what do you do more onroad or offroad. but to be honest i like my onroad because it is so much more tiny looking. when i pull that out it still amazes people. lol and with smaller tires it gets better torque. i wish you luck on your sale and if you need anything just hit me up!.

Even if you are running on-road, I recommend you still consider the NT18T over the NT18. The reason is ground clearance. The NT18T performs well on-road (you can get foams for it). If you make a mistake and run off your driveway or track, you can drive it back on the track without having to pick it up and return it to the track. Also, if your driving surface is the least bit uneven, the NT18 will hit the ground often. I have attached two photos to show what I mean.

If you don't have a starter box, keep in mind the RTR kits for both of these cars include them. Here are some general costs for the different kits.

NT18 - $225
NT18 with Electronic Pack - $260
NT18T - $225
NT18T RTR - $260

I own the NT18MT and M18 so I have experienced the differences with their ground clearance. We run our RC cars in our driveway and use the NT18MT most often for the reasons above. Don't get me wrong, the NT18 is awesome but it was designed for touring car racing on a prepared surface.

good tips. and cough i own all of them, m18,nt18,nt18t,mt18 etc... lol i don't recommend the truck just because of ground clearance, i recommend based on your likes at first because i was a die hard onroad racer i raced a serpent for years, and getting into a truck and putting street tires on it still doesn't compare to the nt18. but if he is looking to bash and what not sure then a truck is ok but it doesn't compare to the nt18. all of our help should be based on our opinion not are guessing what he will like better, that will be his choice in the end. anyways good tips and thanks for contributing

i know im getting a little off topic but what are the different uses for a monster truck, a stadium truck, and a buggy? Aren't they all for the same type of thing?
