Well since there only a handful of us who have these so far it be nice to have a thread for us to coverse back and forth about the build and mods in the process.
i received mine on monday 20th (I bought the electronic upgrade which just consists of HITEC HS-81 metal servos in disquise) and have it about 95% done i ran into only one prob that was installing the disc brake pad mount (lack of better or real name)
here some pics of the build....

There can be an official thread for everything but the mini lst *cough*TNB*cough* lol ..... I feel we need one, so we can post our questions in there instead of making a new topic... anyways, Nice car, XRAY is a fine quality manufacturer.

lol yea, he said there were already threads about it, so I made an "official" and it got locked, oh well. Have you ran it yet? I suppose you dont have any competition yet, someone else will need to make a nitro mini TC to compete. Whats the top speed?

Cool. Glad to see we are going to have a "offical" thread on here for the NT18. I got mine last week and I am very impresed with it. It is my first car from XRay. I may go out and get the M18 also now
The build was very smooth. I had no issues at all. I got the kit less the electronics as I was not sure what they would send with it. I added HS 81 servos and right now I am running a 4 AAA batt back with regular batts. I have a good battery on the way from cheapbatterypacks.com It will be a much better fit than the Radio Shack holder I am useing now.

Break in was going very smooth and then I let the car get away from me. It has a great power to weight ratio. I have now broken one of my inner wheels off a very hard curb hit. But hopefully I can get the part tomorrow...

Here are some pics:

and next to my RC18t for size ref:

I am really pleased with the power and sound of the car. It is louder than I thought it would be, but it sound good.

And it is a blast to drive!!!!

nice fast review... yea i intend to do a parking lot for first run as i hate curbs as well..lol i wasn't sure which i was gonna get till they came as well then he said the servos were hitec hs-81 metal gear so i said ill take it... the build was smooth for me accept i had one issue with the brake pad mount didnt seem to line up right but easy fix everything else was great. i will run it when i get a starter box.. this is my 4th car from xray i also have 3 electric m18's

since there isn't that many of us who have them yes its nice to stay close in the thread for help and info on mods and what not. like i said on xray we are the test dummies to this first round ..lol get a video of yours driving???? i was hoping it was gonna be louder then i thought cant wait to hear it... how does it handle full throttle wise does is fish tail uncontrolable? anyways thanks for the pics

the xray battery pack works quit well has enough power, and is very small thus saving room and weight. there 700mA but work great!

I have yet to get it to full throdle. But at 3/4ths it is pretty darn good.

No one get me wrong. The breakage I had was my fault. Not the car. Just me being in a rush to take the car apart. I am totaly new to this inner wheel thing and I really think after looking at it again I did the damage learning how to take the wheels apart.

But I should have it back up and running tomorrow.
