This one wasn't too crazy, but was a good use for some stuff I had laying around.
Fuselage was a simple "lost foam" method fiberglass shell, wings were from a previous pattern plane, vertical fin was sticks, sheeted, and power was an OS .40 Control was via elevons, rudder, and throttle.
It had a fun, but brief career. (My first scratch-built flying wing design)

KEEP THEM COMMING
also if you've built planes from films, i'm gonna go find a pic of a plane a club member has built from the film Things To Come
There it is, shame hes holding it like that, its got a gull wing shape, power is 2 540 motors and 2 480's, all on for lift off, and just the 480s for crusing

Here's my disk. I have a ball flying this thing. It is the easiest hovering plane I have ever seen. I can barely hover my GP Giles and my wasp. This thing lets me hover out a tankful if I want to without any problem. It also does some of the strangest maneuvers I've ever seen. The coolest trick is a 45 degree nose high spin/piroette. It hangs and spins with the center of rotation at the prop. When I first started flying it, it went lean in a hover about a foot off the ground. It sagged and sat down square on it's tail and stayed there. I shut down the engine and went out to pick it up. I got a round of applause from the pits. They thought I did it intentionally. I haven't been able to do it again since then. I've gotten it to sit down but I can't get it to stay. It usually falls over one way or the other. It's also the cheapest plane I have ever had. About 8 bucks for the coroplast and a couple for the ply inner cradle. Later,,,basmntdweller

Ok here's another Ninja Star. I framed it up and my friend Chris talked me out of it and finished it. I figured if he can fly an MD-80 for Alaska Airlines he can handle this one!!
