Hello,
I'm looking for someone who has any knowledge about the GT-4 RTR. I don't have a car, and never have had a nitro car. I saw it in a hobby shop for $350 and went on website to find it. Found alot of specs, a lot I liked, but I don't know if that is the car. The website is:

[URL=http://www.yokomousa.com/kits/rtr/index.html]

If you have any NOT LISTED info (not on the web), can you please reply because all i did was do some library type research.

Thanx

I thought the Traxxas 4-Tec 2.5 was the fastest at 60mph plus where that one does 40-50..

BUT I personally would get the Yokomo... what's funny is that.. fast as it may, I never hear of the 4tec in competitive racing or anything

THE YOKOMO GT-4 RTR IS ONE OF THE BEST CARS EVER!

BECAUSE....

my friend just got himself a NTC3 RTR and I ran him w/ my electric.. his car wasn't broken in yet and so i just blew him away... next thing i know, he let me have his NTC3 for $100.. and bought himself a GT4 RTR

My first Nitro and probably not my last!!

I have NTC3 RTR but added 2 speed upgrade. NTC3 with single speed only gets mid 30's with 2 speed you can get over 50 if tuned right. I am regearing mine for more top end speed though. Can't wait until gears arrived, I did order them though.

Currently running stock 2 speed. I ordered 27 tooth pinion (purple) and 20 tooth pinion (silver) and a 48 tooth spur gear.

I am going to play with different combinations. After I move I will order a radar speed gun to truely tell. But my wife asked for me to wait until after we move first. We will move around August. Can't wait.

I am going to keep running same .12 engine that came with the RTR. I been thinking of putting my TMaxx 2.5 in my TC3 and seeing how it handles and get the sirio .18 for the maxx. We will see. If I do not do that, I will just get a new motor for the TC3. I love playing with thes things. Endless possibilities.

Yes get it! the GT-4 kicks ass. UltimateHobbies.com has it for only 299 bucks. Get one there. I have had one, (sold it recently, not because it is bad, but because I wanted to get into Off-roading), i was one reliable car. It gave me very few problems and is very durable. You can't go wronge with it.
