racer-RCU -> 30s racing plane kits (12/3/2002 8:29:57 AM)

Does anyone out there know if there are any kits out there for these planes such as the Gee Bee, Turner special, super solution planes like that. Any 30s racing planes, I love the way they look.
I've already checked out adrian page and nwhobbytech.

Several people make vintage 'Thompson Trophy' era racers
Check out http://www.usrainfo.org I'm sure you'll find it interesting.

Wendell Hostetler plans and Precision Cut Kits have a lot of great stuff.

Just got my first taste of trophy class myself... I'm still in love with the Biplane Class myself!!

What size are you looking for??
I have some contacts for the large scale stuff (33 - 42 %), but that maybe bigger than you are looking for.
Love those large scale racers!

Hi...
Take a look at Jack Divine Models... google it.
I plan to build the R4 Firecracker with a ZDZ Super 80

Jack Devine Models has a great looking Laird Super Solution. The building techniques for his models is very interesting. I have personally seen three of his planes fly and they were all terrific.
