I was just wondering if anyone used the blue gears to try to get rid of the tail wag in a trex. I have tried all of the suggestions from you helpful guys at RCU.com. I have two Trex's. One flies great, very little or no wag, and the other is my problem heli. I believe that the tail wag is cause by the tail being a little to fast and the blue reduction gears I hope this will take out the wag or most of it? I have notice take the tail gear is a little higher speed than other micro heli. One turn of the main blades = 4.7 to 5 turns on the TRex and 4.2 turn (tail rotations) on the tail on the Shogun and some other micro heli. Trying to find out before I take my heli apart to install the New Reduction Tail Gears. Any info on these gears would be very helpful . I like to know if the reduction in the tail gears shows any different in the way Trex preforms?
Thanks for a response.

The blue gear drive does slow the tail rotor, especially for heavy 3D maneuvering. Shouldnt have anything to do with "wag". If the tail is 'wagging' rapidly horizontally, your gyro sensitivity may be set too high or your tail servo is too slow. If it's wagging up & down a bit, about 3-4 X/Sec like mine was yeserday, your head speed is probably too low. Just decrease the pitch slightly &/or increase the throttle RPM & it'll be 'all better'.
