i finally got my trex together and finally gigured out how to program my new 9c, a great radio by the way. after about 2 weeks of very slow building and trying to learn programing on the radio it finaly was time to give it a go, after some minor trimming and some more program changes it flew like a dream!!!!! its definatly is a big step up from a blade cp. it just feels like a machine not a toy like the cp. i am still looking for some help programing idle up. i have the trex xl ccpm, align 430 lf 3550kv motor, castle creations phoenix 35 esc, thunder power 2100mah pro lite batt, futaba 9c radio, 4 hitec hs 56 servos and a cheap century gyro off my hummingbird till my futaba 401 gyro and 9650 servo come in the mail. any help with radio setup would be a big help!!!! i love this heli

If you are just learning to fly I wouldn't worry much about idle up yet as it makes the collective stick much more sensitive but here's what you want.

-9, -5, 0, +5, +9 pitch
and 100 95 90 95 100 on the throttle, atleast thats where mine is set you may way to experement first with 100, 75, 50, 75, 100

I to am moving up from the CP to the XL CCPM and agree the T-rex is tons better. From what I understand you set the pitch like in the instructions and as stated above for the pitch. then useing the throttle curve they give you, depnding on the motor and pinion you have, you can raise or lower the %'s to get the head speed you want while still keeping the same differance between the numbers. A guy I fly with said he had his set at 70% max and his headspeed is still up there. I don't know what motor he has. Must be a stout one.
