Wow, everyone is patiently waiting for the race pics.

I replaced my chopper's main gear after the crash and it's all ready to go except for new blades. I can't remember where I put my extra set.

I recently bought a 2250mAh lipo and a pitch gauge. Hopefully using the latter will improve my tail authority because I'll have higher head speed.

When you guys crash, have you ever stripped the main gear? It seemed wayyy too easy to do. Maybe the meshing wasn't tight enough and that's why it stripped.

Hi Vega,

Yep the main gear or the one way bearing is usually the 1st to go, but just think of what damage could be done if it didnt break!!! At least now when your head hits the deck, it stops rotating cuz the main gear broke

I have a df 60 and I have flown it several times. Charged the battery again, like usual, hooked the battery up to fly it and it is starting to come off of the ground but it is spinning in a circle counterclockwise and when I try to correct it, it then spins clockwise. I tried to trim it, and I fiddled with the servo, I put vaseline on the slider on the back blade and it is still spinning. How can I get it to stop spinning???

That sucks about the main gear. I'd rather the blades just break; those are cheaper and easier to replace than the main gear. Last time I cut the throttle before impact. How many main gears have you guys gone through? I've spent 2 already.

Here's a vid of my 60 flying after fixing it up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5MP9oa0rVY . I have a loooong way to go before inverted.

disco, something is loose. Start checking from the servo horn all the way to and through every screw on the tail assembly. If that does not fix it then pull off the belt and change it.

Whoa, I was searching for Walkera 60 videos and noticed footage that you had posted Consult. Nice flying.

That was a pretty rough crash with the 22E.

You have a lot of choppers.

So on my Heli I have like a 2 - 5mm differance in the height of my blades. when the blades are spinning and I look at them at eye level, at the very tip of the blade 1 is 2 - 5mm above the other. this seems to result in an unstable vibration in the Heli. How Might one go about fixing this problem!!!

Thanks

Xero,

maybe your feathering shaft is bent or your main shaft.

Probably the feathering shaft.
