LOL. Good guesses, but I dont think so. They are more of a thicker rubber. Not as stretchy as a rubber band. My first thought was battery holders also. But like I said, not quite big enough to go around the battery.
Next guess.
Anyone else???

consultjdm,
Ok, they do some what fit over the RX. So thats a pretty good guess, but Im not convinced thats the answer. could be, what do I know, Im the one askin. LOL, Are you, me and rene the only ones who use this walkera forum?
Yea, if you can scare up Soneebee, ask him. I understand he is the walkera guru.
Also, I had ordered that DF60-B kit & it came with two of those rubber rings too, Now I have not two, but four of those rings & no clue what to do with them. LOL, Id try shootin them at my buddys helis if I had any buddys with helis.

consultjdm,
I posted the same question on the forum at the walkera china site and was answered by Dave who told me definatively that the rubber rings in question are indead intended as battery holders. Ya, good luck on that one.

Rob,

I'll see if I can get a hold of Soneebee on the Trex forum. But you have to love the Idea of extra parts with no known function. But I think I recall it had something to do with storing the heli. Do they fit around the blade tips to hold them together?

Rob,

I use women's ponytail bands with the little ball on them for holding the battery - much better. Oh and some I just zip tie in and never take them out. On my 22E I then to swap batteries and run again. On the Trex and walkera I just switch between heli's and wait for them to recharge.

consultjdm,
The gentleman at the china site said the mystery band were intended for the original batterys, I assume they had a hard case, but they cant be used on the lipos because they will damage them. I myself just happen to be lucky and had a velcro strap laying around the house that works great for the battery.
If your interested in savein a couple of bucks, take an old computer mouse pad, glue two halfs together and cut all the blade holders you want out of it. works pretty good. But I bought one anyway, home made didnt look pro enough for me.

Rob, I have the store bought blade holders also, LOL.

thanks for finding out the rubber band question. Funny, they don't ship it with the original (NiMh) battery anymore but still send the rubber bands.
