I am sure you know you can take the radio a part switch the springs and the throttle controls from the left and move them over to the right. It is a little tedious but I have done it. I can’t see how anyone could fly with the throttle on the right. I guess I can’t see how the Iraqis read from right to left either.

I wasn't sure if you could switch it from mode 1 to mode 2, but RC-Expert.com sent me a photo saying to switch the controls and the circuits they conect to.

Something to do this weekend.

Not in a rush, they sent me 2 #60's both on the same channel and one of the controls was a mode 1 and one of them was a mode 2. So I am using the one good control for now. I expect I may do the switch tonight though.

Wierd that the brushless motor burned up in 10 minutes of hovering.

Status: offline 		The photo they sent me did not match my TX. Mine cannot be switched.

Waiting to hear from them now.

On another note.

I tried to fly the brushed motor with the Brushless motors TX.

The brushed ESC has a wire with a red button on it. Not sure what it does.

The motor/esc/gyro would not initialize right. No beeps.
But when I pushed the red button it finally started but there was no why to power it down all the way. I still flew it and it flew good.

Out of the box except needed to use my other TX and some wire ties to strap on the battery and hold in the wires.

Felt a little glitchy at times. Gyro Twitched in flight a few times.

I burned the battery down to were it would not lift off but the blades were still spinning so I had to reach under them and unplug it to get them to stop.

So something is weird.

Another letter to RC expert I guess.

Status: offline 		I don't have a 60 but you don't have a weird problem. It's a safety feature. When the batteries get too low, the heli goes into "auto-pilot". Also, if your using a lipo, you may be running the battery too low. Watch that voltage closely. Good Luck

not sure you understood the problem.

I cannot get the main rotor to stop by turning the throttle off in regular mode (not 3D mode).

So when I was done flying I had to reach under the spining blades and unplug it.

Something is wrong with my esc or TX setup , it doesnt recognize that I am at zero throttle.

I think the belt setup looks real good. I like it way better than my EF showgun setup.

Sounds like your throttle curves are wrong, there are instructions on setting the throttle curve in the instruction manual.

I dont know if this will help you out any with the little red button, thought I would post it for you to look at. You have probably already figured this out.

The 20A Brush Speed Controller (Actiyator) installed on the helicopter

　



when you want to start the helicopter, you have to press this switch to make the 20A Brush Speed Controller power on first (you need to press the switch 2~3 times), you will find the red led in the 20A Brush Speed Controller is on, it means the 20A Brush Speed Controller is ready, then you can play the model, when you finish the flight, you can move the battery from the helicopter directly and don't need to press the switch again

Status: offline 		I agree, the belt system on the #60 looks very good. Less moving parts to get calibrated correctly like with the #36 and even the Trex. It should also have less drag which should equate to longer flight times with cooler electronics. Time will tell I guess.

I wouldve thought that also except there is no setting in normal mode that does not start at zero. You can only increase or decrease the motor in the middle of the curve.

Why, have you tried adjusting your #60 and you can get the same problem to occur in normal mode (the motor wont shut off)?

Yes, thats what I had to do, press the little button and then it started with throttle off and trim in center. Started up like it was in some sort of governor mode. But there was no way to shut it off without unpluging the battery. you can get them to slow down just not stop, but still spinning pretty fast.

Is that how yours works? Or can you throttle down to stop the main blades?
