Tom:
Do you have an estimate on the price and the color for that new Sukhoi?

I`ve been waiting for a a 50cc Sukhoi and coming from WildHare I know it will be a good one!

I like the colors, but the Honda logo I don't really care for. Maybe replace the Honda with Sukhoi......

Keep with W-H tradition, Bunny on the tail and Wild Hare on the rt, wing. Then all will know it's another Wild Hare plane!

Thanks for the reply Tom.
The price is great even if you have to raise the price a little it would still be worth the money to have a good WildHare quality Sukhoi.
The Honda scheme is pretty good, from your post I undestand it will be all red with black and no Honda graphics, that way we can customize to our liking.
Looks good, keep us posted... will you be taking preorders soon?

John

Sorry, I wish I had video taped my WH Yak. a friend of mine flew my Yak and hovered it and torque rolled it in low rates about three months ago very easy, the plane handled high alpha KE and elevators no problem, the plane is outfitted with a DA-50 and every person who has flown it said that it is WAY OVERKILL power with that engine. I have a ZDZ50NG and it is the same as tha DA with a 20x10 and 22x8 bambulas. My ZDZ does not like to move up to anything over a 22x8. The DA works good even with a 23x8. I guess what I`m trying to say is that if you keep the ZDZ under a 22x10 on this YAK it will work the same as the DA. And with that setup you can practically do anything you order it to do.

that sounds good, i like zdz, i have an 80 in a comp-arf and love it, i am at 5000' also so i need overkill power to tail slide and stuff, i like 8 pitch props anyway, i am not into speed, just thrust, i use a 26-8 on my 80, i was asking about the video just because the one on the site doesnt show 3d type flying, shows patter which is nice to know it is persicion as well, i just wanted to see some one having 3d fun, it wont change my mind anyway, as long as all you guys say it does 3d stuff and flys nice

Tom,

Where can we find the Bisson Side mount you referred to back in post # 60. I am gathering all the needed stuff before I order the airframe (in the hopes you will get some blue ones in soon ). I have seen this muffler on a Yak at my flying field and like how it looked. I have looked around and cannot seem to find it.

Thanks in advance

John

Has anyone tryed a saito 220 on this plane. I'm not sure what this plane is weighing in at, but at about 13lb the 220 is a great engine. I'm considering this plane and already have a new 220. The 220 with the muffler weighs in at about 2lb 11oz. Feedback please.....EMVIN....Thanks....

Tom: I like a airplane with a lot of white. Similar to the 80" Yak. It allows the owner to put on his or her own vinyl graphics. The Honda scheme would be very hard to personalize..

A Saito 220 would probably work OK, but I feel to get the most out of this airplane you need a lightweight 50cc engine. Mine balances perfect with a DA-50 and carbon fiber spinner.
With a Saito you would have to move the tank way forward (considerably changing your CG throughtout the flight as fuel is burned) or pump the Saito and leave the tank on the CG and probably have to add lead to the nose.
At 15 pounds with a DA-50 the power to weight ratio is perfect.
