Hi, I know, this topic belongs to the Giles G 202, but the snapping is an issue for many types of planes. Now, after flying my WH Giles G202 almost a year, I've healed this snap out for nearly 80%. I ballanced the centerline with a 60 gram weight at the tip of the left wing. Now the snap out is only then, when I don't give full throw on the elevator. To kill the last 20%, I will add more 20 gram of lead on the left wing. The season has just begun, so that I will tell you more about the improvements about snapping. I had to change the motor. Now the 3W 80Xi is working on the dome (KS 95 V4, 17 cm header recommended, 1" diameter). I'm very expressed about the power and rpm, much more than a ZDZ 80RV. To silversurfer: The carbon gear, as a replacement on my Giles (I told about) is still working well after a full season with sometimes hard landings! I can recommend it! Besides: it saves 350 gram! Thomas, G
