Mark,

One of the anti-rotation pins on the wing of my 36% Katana is pushed in to the wing root. I think I can get it back out, but what is the best way to glue it back in?

Thanks

Well you can do it one of two ways you can either use epoxy or foam safe ca DO NOT USE NORMAL CA. either way will work fine as long as it is still a tight fit if its a little lose use some epoxy to tighten it up but make sure nun of the glue gets on the wing root or you will have another problem. Did you get the balance figured out?

Mark,

How tight should the anti-rotation pins be? What I mean is, when I push the wing on to the fuselage, there is quite a bit of force required to get the wing against the fuse. I am certain this is what pushed the pin in.

I am going to mess with the balance tonight -- I'll let you know how it comes out.

Thanks

Mine were tight also they will losten with normal use. Just glue it in to help reinforce the pin and you should be fine.

Thanks Mark, I'll just use some foam safe CA.

My plane is now slightly nose heavy with the engine moved back so that the back of the spinner backplate is 13 7/8" from the front of F-1. What do you think? Is the engine back too far?

The way I am balancing it is to measure back 6 1/8" from the leading edge at the wing tip.

Thanks again!

Nope thats fine just be carefull of the cowl when you put the hatch on. I still can't believe you were that nose heavy but I guess theres a first for everything.
