I broke one of the front axles today and it was on of the one that came with the upgrade kit. They are supposed to be stonger but I can see that there not.I just put the stock one back on after I got threw bashing.Although I have to admit that it was alot of fun running it with just rear wheel drive.

I just masked off the design and sprayed the dark colors first.  I used racing red and outlaw black.  Rattle can paint for lexan.  Thanks.

Thank you. Next project is a Tonka truck inspired Ford F650 body for my Avalanche XP. I just did an Ironhide (Transformers) inspired body for a buddy (Avalanche XP) and I just ordered a '73 Ford Bronco body to do for another friends truck (Monsoon XTR).

I also have a Ford Raptor project for my Tamiya in the works and here is my Kyosho with a Beetle body, but those aren't Redcats.

Liking the black wheels there. Just ordered all my wheels and tires for my buggy. White 6 spokes will take some adhesive prep paint, and paint a set or 2 for the race season.

Which rims did you get? They may be dyeable. Works a hell of a lot better than paint.
The rims on the Beetle were originally yellow. Soaked them in Rit dye for about 45 minutes. They came out so much better than paint would have, and they don't get scratched or chipped.

This may give you a better idea of how they look after dying.

Plain white 6 spokes, the wheels are already premounted with the tires. So wont dye them. Will be a simple quick mask them off and paint the spokes real fast.
