I am interested in the RCV Engines from england.

http://www.rcvengines.com

Anyone have experience with these engines. How to the engines compair in power to 2-stroke or 4-stroke engines.

That look cool and would be real easy to fit in a cowl.

Yes! I am still looking for an engine for my TF AT-6

Thanks! bwillhite

Everything i've heard about these is good, theres been a few reviews in the UK mags and they love them.
Cant be too bad if the US military is investing in them.
There might be a review at www.modelflying.co.uk

BW, I have an RCV .90 with about one hour on it, it ran lousy at first but after about 1/2 hour it came to life. I did some experimenting with glow plugs for it, RCV recommends an OS-f so I put one in it, it did not idle very well so I tried one of Hangar Nines new Super Plugs and to my surprise it idled much better. With the Super Plug, Wildcat Premium Extra 10% fuel and an APC 15.5x12 four bladed prop it turns 5,000 RPM, needle not nearly peaked yet. It turns the same RPM with OS-F, Fox Miracle and H9 Super Plug but idles much better with the Super Plug. The gears in it will whine like crazy at first but soon quiet down and get lost in the other noises. I start it with the optional wand.
