Status: offline 		What do you guys use to cut holes in ribs?

I'm mostly talking about the holes needed for the phenolic tubes used in giant scale wings (like 1.5" diameter). They have to be accurate and neat.

Also, what about holes for the servo wire tubes?

In the past, i've used forstner bits with my drill press....but I've never been satisifed with the end result in balsa. it often tears out and makes a ragged hole.

Status: offline 		I have used a hole saw in my drill press, this requires the balsa to be "sandwiched" between two scrap pieces of ply. Put the "sandwich" under pressure while feeding the holesaw through it.
