Hi There. Thanks for writing.... The muffler exchange will get you about 50% of the jump to the LX performance. The rpm tuning will jump, and you would want to use 11x8 or 12x6 props. This setup works ok on aircraft that will definately move (quick) and allow the engine to get up into the best power band for the muffler. The full LX conversion includes more agressive port timing as well. If you were to send the engine in for service, I belive Dub can do a liner re-fit (Rather than replacing the entire piston/liner/button combination). Bob
