Yes that was me, the picture is on page 10. Is it only my computer or is that picture super large? So far everything seems to be running ok, knock on wood. I do have a 30A ESC I bought for another motor as a backup but I'll just monitor things for now. When I used this battery with the stock motor it ran very hot and finally died. I disassembled it and the coils were charred and one brush was almost completly gone. Good thing I didn't damage the heli.

It looks nice, I recommend something with a little more pep. That's the reason you get brushless.
Go for the other one , it has 4200 RPM.. you should be asking yourself at what RPM level
is the max before you have to adjust your yaw. IT's not a matter of just poping it in,
some of us got lucky, but when so much power is applied, you will need to do some adjustments.

Hi, guys I have found out about the metal rotor head and tail sections. It is the same as the 60 so if you want then then look at buying it from a good website for a 60 and it should be done. Mine is on it's way and I will up date you on it's fit and function.

hello W37, the head that army posted for the DF37 seems to be very good.. I can see that it is a good copy of the Align SE head design.. is it already out in he market.. the one you posted is like a promo for the whole heli.. are they selling just the head part? I hve talke to eHirobo about the head and I am not sure when the head for the DF37 will come out.. but i think walkera will still make the head for this heli....

METAL HEAD NEWS FOR DF37.

ACCORDING TO WALEKRA. THERE WILL NOT BE A METAL HEAD DESIGN FOR THE DF37.

THIS IS BAD NEWS.

IN ORDER TO GET METAL HEAD , YOU MUST PURCHASE A AFTER MARKET SYSTEM,

THAT MAY REQUIRE MODIFICATION.

SPECULATIONS REMAINS ON WHETHER THE DF60 HEAD COMBO WILL FIT,

THE ONLY ISSUE WITH THE DF60 SYSTEM IS THAT YOU HAVE TO ALSO

ACQUIRE THE FLYBAR FOR THAT HEAD, CAUSE THE ORIGINAL FLY BAR ON THE

DF37 is ABOVE THE MAIN ROTOR.

AND SECOND, THE MAIN SHAFT NEEDS TO BE VISUALLY AND MECANICLY

VERIFIED TO SEE IF IT FITS AND CONFORMS TO THE DF60 SYSTEM.

Here's a link to see the DF60 head system on ebay:

the one that eHirobo sent me contains the flybar and the shaft already.. and the head is already assembled.. the only problem that i am seeing is the shaft.. the one that comes is designed for the main gear of the Df60.. I havent seen the actual DF37 gears so it will be the point of problem.. other parts might work

Somebody is making a metal head for the 37. Here it is as an entire assembly....

I emailed the vendor to see if I can get just the head, I'll let you know.

Soneebee didn't indicate that this head was exactly the same as his DF60 head, but seems to be more like the Align.

Mark this head that you posted really looks good an not like the one on the Df60.. it is really more of the AlignSE head.. it looks and has the same mixing.. so I guess this is like an align copy.. the one on the DF60 is really different.. even the mixing is different... If I were to choose between the Df60 head and that one.. the one on the Df37 seem to be better looking and the performance seems to be more of the aligns...

You are wrong. Sorry to say it.. that will not work.

If you take a closer look, that is not the DF37 HEAD.
THE DF37 has the flybay over the mains.. That what you see there
is a TrEX450 and or simular DF60 Conversion.

Beleive me when I say... no one has a DF37 original head in metal.

But I give you credit.

Because it proves according to the pics, you
can adapt a DF60 metal head and flybar to the DF37.

What remains to be seen and fact finding,
is to figure out, what is more beneficial.

The flyBAR. whether over the main rotors or under the main rotors.

I have to figure this one out. I'm sure there must be a difference.

All I can say is this, and not too defend the DF37, but I flew my friends

TRex450.. and it was not as stable at low hover as my plastic head 37 with the flybar over the mains rotors.

It seems that flybars over the main rotors achieve better balancing than under. could this be true?

This remains in my book as a real study issue.

What a nice looking deal. The price looks great considering the upgrades but ouch! on the shipping. I'll be keeping an eye on this as my plastic parts grind away.
