Sorry guys, I thought that this thread had died.

Did you try reversing your gyro? It sounds like that might be the problem.
If you have control of the Helis direction (forward-back, left-right) then those servos are hooked up correctly. Channel three is the esc, four is always rudder, five is the gear channel, six is the pitch, and seven is gyro adjust if you have that feature.
Check that your tail blades are rotating in the correct direction and that they are installed correctly. It is hard to belive how often that Walkera screws that up!

I'll check back to see if you have more questions.

Huey

Cool Cepeda,
It's amazing how the parts start adding up. I already have built an entire RTF 36 from spare parts and now I just figured out that I have enough extra parts to almost build a Raptor G2 ARF.
Just need a Trex xl belt and an esc to finish it.
Post a link to your store when you get it ready.
Looking forward to it.

OK.. Which is the best battery?

This is the question of the new year. Everyone has many opinions.

No one has a definte answer, cause many batteries are used in different ways.

But, if you are a casual flyer, maybe doing some 3D, barrel rolls, 360 loops, not pushing it at all

I recommend FLIGHT POWER EVO 2500Mah 11.1V Lipo. Along with the ULtra Balancer (blinky clone but better) if your not using a balance charger.

This battery does not puff up and has an excellent warrantee. EVEN WITH CRASHES! Don't waste money on anything else. And remember to

use caution when handling LIPOS. Do not over discharge and do not over charge.

Flight time on the Walkera DF60 = 18 minutes. DF37=17 minutes. Df36=16.5 minutes.. All normall fly mode, Idle 0.

OK.. Should I build a hybrid?

Absolutly. Hybrids offers more expansion than conventionals. Many more options too without hitting the pocket.

Here is example of my 450 hybrid. This unit flies better than an original 450XL. It's lighter and the body is stronger.

You are so right about the 600, My dream Heli. I figured out that if I sell every thing I own in this hobby I could get one but I'm not ready yet.
On your hybrid, What did you use to make it? It looks awsome!

That's the correct way to do it. What are you doing with it?

Didn't know that they made a metal frame for the 37. Maybe it's for the Trex?

Is one of them complete? Then it's a good deal. By the way I have tried both and prefer the plastic 37 head as the alloy one is a completely different design and is poorly made.

That's to bad as it seems like a good deal. Speaking of good deals there is a 50 shuttle RTF on ebay for $400 that is complete with Futaba 8 channel radio system and motor and gy401 gyro/digital servos!
Man I wish That I had the cash!

W37,

Need your help mate. I have not been flying my W60 (Alum Head - I understand it has the same setting as the W37) for about 3 months. Took it out the other day and have noticed
that the front servo tends to travel farther that the cyclic servos when I hit collective. I have switched servos, changed the receiver but to no avail.

Because of the imbalance (front servo travelling farther that the other two servos), the heli tends to move forward even though all
i want it to do is hover. My question is, has anyone ever encountered this before? Could it be that my tx is busted? Or is there something that i can still do to fix the problem.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Cheers
Ausaero

You might be able to move the front servo link up the arm, closer to the servo to shorten it's throw. Assuming that they all start at the same level in the first place.

Thanks Baby Huey. It worked! Managed to fix her last night per your suggestion. I wonder why i didnt think of that. Been struggling for the past 2 weeks trying to figure out what the problem was.

I'm hoping to fly her later after work. Weather has been perfect lately here in Brisbane, Australia.

Cheers

Glad to help,
One of my life long dreams is to come and see your country someday (by the way of Hawaii of course!) If I could I would take a tour of that part of the world by ship.
Just need the correct lotto ticket and I'm on my way.
