The CAP is a nice sport flyer, but does not handle wind that well. She is not much in a KE but its not meant to do KE loops. I had a Himax 2812 in mine and it flew nice. This plane flies easy and will come in for landing without snapping on you.

I just got one. Looks like a fun little plane!
3D hobby shop had they on special with 3 E-fite servos, I'm glad I did pass it up!!!
I'm running a E-fite 400 4200kv in a Himax gear box on he 62t gear set and a 9x6e apc prop, at 17.6 amps. It was a cloudy day, but i think it'll tack out over 10,000rpm! couldn't get a steady reading.

What is everyone doing to there canopy? I glued a 3/16x 1/8 sticks on each side and put a stick along the back of the canopy. Then I plan on using a magnet to hold down the back of the canopy. I'm planning on putting the battery in threw the canopy.

Its been a while since Ive been on here. Heres the skinny on the Caps, flew great with motor setup not a speed demon but a great flyer. Was flying at about 45' when I noticed that I had no elev. control plane was going down and fast. Killed the motor and prepaired for impact. Front was smashed in as well as the fuse sides being broke. All of this caused by a rookie mistake "no screw in servo horn" . Have since repaired it and put my Eflight 480BL outrunner on it. Much faster and whisper quiet.
