Val'a, certificate #0000210 for 1/3 Berkut returned to Ultimate R/C and confirmed via certified mail. Let me know when I will see the refund. I did not receive a reply from you via e-mail.

Dude if you didn't get an email from them I would call them. I doubt that this company fusco aircraft sits on rcuniverse all day watching post. I emailed them and got a response the next day for pictures that I posted here. I would call them and talk to them not here on a public forum dude. Id like to see you get a response from great planes on this forum. Or tower hobbies. Keep in touch. I would like to know if you get your return because I want to buy one and trying to save up the cash.

When I called, Val'a said he quit monitoring RCU. Give him a call or direct e-mail.

GEEZ!!! Are children posting to this thread? I have been following this for quite some time now and have held my 'tongue' on this issue. The total R/C population in the world does not revolve around RCUniverse. I would say guesstimating around 95% or so flyers do not know about this site. So it would seem by this number that the majority of the people who bought the Berkut kit DO NOT even know this site exists.

Are you that naive that because your here that all R/Cer's are going to automatically be here too?

I totally agree with IFLYUPSIDEDOWN, you have a problem call the source. He is a businessman, is he to sit here all day and get no work done on this kit? GROW UP people and call this Val'a Fusco up.

Better yet I would like to see this thread shut down!! It has totally gone away from the original question anyway!!!!

If I were him I would not even pay attention to what is going on in this forum either, I would think that if the person or person's here would be MAN or WOMAN enough to call!! QUIT hiding behind the internet.

nuff said,

Now come on and blast away like I'm sure will happen, proving you are children and not adults.

Here's the original question:
I was looking for an ARF that is different from the usual stuff and found the Fusco 1/3 Long-EZ ARF

I was debating the value of this offering ($549 prepaid) when they offered a special deal that includes a free 1/5 EZ or 1/4 quickie kit for the price.

I'm not affiliated in any way with this company, but think this is a good deal. What do you guys think?
Now how exactly do you expect us or anyone to answer that question without anyone having even seen one. I think shutting this thread down would be a mistake.

Part of the greatness of RCU is that a prospective buyer can ask questions and get answers on the companys and their products. This thread has shown that Fusco has made promises and has not been able to keep them. If I'm making purchases on prototype aircraft that's probably not a good thing.

Those movies are obviously from Alaska and I doubt they've had weather that nice since last summer so that would show that those movies are pretty recent.

no door bell here....so, as far as I am concerned, the question has not been answered and the thread should remain active...good, bad or indifferent...

What purpose is served by shutting down a thread that reveals unfulfilled (or fulfilled) promises? If you are offended nmnative, geese, don't persist in reading it fella. Certainally if it holds no interest or relevance to your life or hobby.
Like I said guestimate, of course it's not a pinned down number of people. I do believe that there are certainly more than 37,597 RC'ers out there. I know many flyers who have never heard of this site.

Not offended at all just can't believe the childish behavior here and I must have an interest or I would not have posted here.

Again many of the posts are nothing more than people wanting money back, call Val'a. He should not have to come here to learn of a complaint or problem.

If danmilo for instance had certificate #211 then reason stands that over 200 people have bought this aircraft. If you have not heard from the 200+ then they do not have a membership here.

So far I have only seen the same 4 - 5 complain. So you are missing my point. If you still miss it then read this and my other post again.

Lets see.....550.00 each (special deal)...rounded off...times over 200 purchases....better than 100, 000 thousand dollars, and still NO delivery after 6 plus months...? As Clara would say...."Where's the Beef"

The above has to raise some questions, from the purchasers and and people looking to buy, it SHOULD be on an open forum. If only 5% of the people that purchased this "special deal" looked at this forum, then it is SAD that the word has not traveled further. IMO, most of the people that have purchased this kit, read THIS forum, and are aware, just NO one wants to be "the bad guy"

I hope that everyone that has purchased this "offer", reads this forum with interest, and the owner's of FUSCO should certainly have an interest in what is said in an "open forum", as it is their business at stake.

If there is some GREAT secret that is going on with this model, I for one would like to know before contemplating a purchase.

I do agree with you on some parts there heli001. But I see my point is still missed. Really though why is it sad that the news of RCuniverse has not 'traveled further'?

If you were a businessman would you sit here all day worrying about this all day? I for one say I wouldn't, if my customer has a problem CALL ME!! Have some guts and pick up the phone and speak to me!!

Also, why would I answer these posts now that there are new pics and video posted and people still complain.

Such as Cdallas2's comment:

Those movies are obviously from Alaska and I doubt they've had weather that nice since last summer so that would show that those movies are pretty recent.

So what, it's what you guys wanted to see, and what's this coming back? Nothing but a bunch of whining.

Well, yes let's see. A free 1/5th Long EZ $249.99 Value and A Berkut a $1250 value for only $550. Hmmmm, wonder were that money went. I say down the toilet for Val'a. Sounds like he lost on this deal more than you guys. You actually are getting a $1250 aircraft for actually a little more than $200 with free shipping. Yeah I'm sure that he made a ton of money on this deal. If I am getting this right, the wood is laser cut and I'm sure that supplies to fiberglass aren't cheap either.

NMNATIVE,

You are exactly right, the 1/5th and the 1/3rd are a great deal....the point is has anyone seen it yet...?

Fusco has chosen to advertise on this site, and I would certainly think that what transpires here would be of great interest to the owners...maybe I am wrong, but customer service, whether it is from Tower Hobbies, or the LHS is in everyone's mind. I have seen people bad mouth hobby shops for a lot less.....! To put your product on this forum, and advertise, is putting your product in front of a lot of people for scrutiny....! To promise delivery again and again and to expect people to understand delays with NO backup is a bit much......

The main question is and has been for a long time is....Has anyone seen or received the 1/3 Berkut Long EZ...?

It seems that people have tried to contact Fusco, to no avail....if they don't monitor this site, they must not be monitoring their email either....

If you think my "childish" statements are from a beginner in this hobby, you are sadly mistaken...anyone that thinks another's statements are childish, makes me want to look at the source........to me, nothing is childish...with the exception of calling someone that you do not know as "Dude".......

The childish statement does not imply to you. Especially since you have not, until now posted here.

Not sure where the beginner part came from but anyway........

Ah but it's also been said that these are in the mail and should be to your door shortly. That's the same thing you say to VISA when you haven't sent the check yet.

Dude.....OK,enough of the California slang!

I am posting my responses here on RCU for the benefit of those who would like to follow my process of receiving a refund. I first e-mail Val'a privately. If I don't receive a response after two days then I post here. If I don't receive a reply after a couple of days then I will call on the 800 number. Just a process of communication, that's all. Don't read more into it than just a public progress report.

I don't envision comparing any other manufacturers to how Fusco is handling my individual transaction. Everyone has their favorites and performance proven vendors.

I will be as happy and accurate in posting news the day I receive my refund. However should there be an unexplained delay, I would report the timeline as well.

Dan

Lets get to the point. HAS ANYONE RECEIVE THE 1/3 BERKUT. I have order it and have not receive. Lets be fair Val has always returns my calls and very nice about answering my questions.

He indicated that the 1/3 BERKUT are being shipped out and some have already been returned to him because of QA issues. He also indicated that they all should be shipped within the next week or so.

Again has anyone received their kit ???????????????????????

IF NOT WE - WE MAY HAVE BEEN HAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
